utubedrama.com, if you’ve never heard of it, claims to be “The satire tabloid National Enquirer of YouTube”. Basically, it’s a website creepily cared for by illeterate gonk Trevor Rieger; a disgraced YouTuber who has been banned by the site numerous times. utubedrama is sheer spite and hearsay from anyone he can get information from and it capitalised on the seemingly non-existence of people after drama about a website (so like “Heat” for geeks, but with none of the spell checking or torso of the week).

I used to view utubedrama as a bit of fun I’d occasionally go on to see what the crackpot (and his followers) had come up with for various YouTubers, most of which I’d never heard of. I always giggle at his various spelling and grammar mistakes; making me seem like a better human being all round as I’m sure you know, as well as the obsured contributions by the dim-witted and often talentless “reporters”.

I’d like to pick apart for a moment one of these now:

Atomicus5000 aka Vlogginus5000 atomicus5000.com says in his YouTube video titled SAFETY ON THE INTERNET that 7Seveng7 DOES NOT HAVE A VERY SUCCESSFUL YOUTUBE CHANNEL and is NOT SUCCESSFUL but only semi-successful despite what 7Seveng7 says about making pedophilia love to a 16 year old child which is nastier than watching 2 adults eat shit out of a glass cup which is kind of ironic considering Atomicus5000 is comparing 16 year old children with a pile of shit.

Firstly, we don’t need all the info about this poor sap that’s sent in his heart felt opinion/lie/fact about something that no one cares about(apart from me, it seems). Secondly, it’s this person’s bitchy opinion about someone else’s YouTube channel and it’s definitely not drama or even gossip for that matter. It’s not even as edgy as “a source” or baffling as “a close friend”; it says the person’s name, right there for all of us to see and click on and write back to (if we wanted to). Some contributors even put their myspace down, as if you’d want 600 unhinged utubedrama fans adding you on myspace, not to mention Trev himself!

Thirdly, the grammar is particularly bad. “Pedophilia love” makes no sense (and it’s paedophilia). Plus the whole thing makes little sense. “7Seveng7 DOES NOT HAVE A VERY SUCCESSFUL YOUTUBE CHANNEL and is NOT SUCCESSFUL but only semi-successful” – it’s either successful or not. He hasn’t provided anything for us to go by; with no way of measuring this success.

Lastly, the good, old fashioned sense of irony is clearly lost of the old loon as comparing paedophilia to shit isn’t ironic. In no way could what this person said be construed as being ironic or even funny, witty, tasteful, sensible or pragmatic. The man clearly has a screw loose and some issues with his, presumably dead, mother (it’s OK, she sits in the corner and tells him about all those naughty YouTubers. Don’t worry, though; she gets out more than wee Trevor – to the bingo at least once a week).

I was going to talk about what really rattled me, which was his comment on British people (or “20 million Britains and the United Kingdom” as he put it) and how apparently only 6 million people in the UK watch the BBC. Hard to understand considering that all the BBC channels got a 49% reach last week and “Strictly Come Dancing” got 9.66 million viewers (barb.co.uk) last month. No, I shan’t talk about that.

Anyway, I won’t go on about his inaccuracies, insanity or bad table manners any longer and let you get back to watching your favourite soap opera about English folks rattling on about their own Queen who does not care about anybody but her own royal family. I didn’t even touch on his use of the word “satire”. Shame that.
